fracture summer

Super 8 - Digital, 6, 2026

Unexpected broken bones in June. The sun passing through the kitchen. Bursts of summer rain. Time is marked through light changing, chosen family visiting, and practicing the piano. My broken Super 8 camera needs to be shaken in order for the shutter release to catch, and I shake my own self to stay in time. The document of being unable to walk during an especially Crip summer inside my apartment. I created this film with the intention to accompany via piano as a live soundtrack. If not possible, a version with music embedded is available.
