Groundswell is the culmination of a 10-month process developing a dance I choreographed for stage, Transits, into single-channel video. Juxtaposing external geographies (mud, water, sun) with internal geographies (sadness, frustration, hope), the film speaks to the resiliency of the mind and body moving through an environment of grief.
