In the Shell (2017)

Choregraphy & Performance: Nadin Bailey, Kym McDaniel

My first performance since my head injury sustained in 2013. This performance was created using modern and ballet vernacular as a way to reclaim the movements, port de bras, and motions in a new body that works, feels, and moves differently than “before”. A collaboration with my dear friend and fellow choreographer, Nadin Bailey. The dance and it’s creation was rooted in love, healing, and process.
